Rental Terms and Conditions for 2009 Kia Spectra

Kill Switch Policy

• Important Notice: The 2009 Kia Spectra is equipped with a kill switch for rental security purposes.

• If payment is not received on time, the vehicle will automatically shut off and will not operate until payment is made, and the car is reactivated.

• The car will not turn on or start until we manually reset it after payment is confirmed.

Security Deposit

• A $200 security deposit is required before the rental begins.

• This deposit is a temporary hold and will not be charged unless damages or issues are found after the vehicle is returned.

• The deposit will be released upon inspection of the vehicle after drop-off.

Responsibility for Damages

• As the renter, you are fully responsible for any damage that may occur to the vehicle during your rental period.

• In the event of damage, the repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit, and additional charges may apply if necessary.

Vehicle Return Requirements

• The vehicle must be returned in the same condition in which it was provided. This includes:

1. Cleanliness: The car must be cleaned prior to return.

2. Gas Level: The gas tank must be refilled to the level it was at when you received the vehicle.

Additional Notes

• Timely Payments: Ensure payments are made promptly to avoid activation of the kill switch and disruption of your rental experience.

• Drop-Off Condition: Any issues, such as uncleanliness or a low gas tank, may result in additional charges deducted from your deposit.
